ENSEO AGAIN SELECTED TO DISPLAY SUPER BOWL
AT STADIUM MANAGERS ASSOCIATION’S ANNUAL SEMINAR
Enseo’s Digital Signage Uses Live Content
Richardson, TX, March 26, 2013 – For the fourth consecutive year, Enseo was chosen to provide technology support at Stadium Managers Association’s (SMA) annual seminar. Enseo’s digital signage was utilized to combine and display the Super Bowl and sponsor messages as well as meeting signage during the five-day at Eden Roc Renaissance Resort in Miami Beach, FL.
The annual seminar is comprised of professional and collegiate stadium managers from across the country. At the signature opening event, Enseo digital signage displayed the live Super Bowl to all attendees in an outdoor venue. In addition to the game, digital signage with sponsor messages were rotated on screen. Enseo technology facilitated the delivery of live, HD content combined with digital signage in a coaxial environment.
“Like the teams that play in our stadiums, if we, at Stadium Managers Association, could nominate candidates for Most Valuable Player, Enseo would be heading up that list,” said Rick Nafe, Ex-Officio and SMA Annual Chair. “With their efforts at coordinating all of our A/V equipment for our annual seminar, ensuring the proper signal, and handling the informational signage and displays that wrap the screens, we can’t even begin to appreciate the money that the Association saves because of their attention to details.”
Throughout the week, Enseo’s digital signage platform was used for the meeting signage in public spaces. This included stored videos, graphics, and rotating text. The Enseo team worked closely with SMA to design a custom solution that provided event details in numerous locations that kept attendees informed of the schedule.
Enseo collaborated with trusted associates at the event. Daktronics orchestrated their Show Control system for the Super Bowl and sponsor messages. Panasonic provided 16 displays for the event, including the new zero-bezel LCD signage display and a projector for an outdoor ten-foot screen. Peerless supplied rolling carts carrying a myriad of displays up to 55” and double-sided stands supporting 65” plasma displays. In addition, Peerless provided a Ciil outdoor display.
Enseo has an extensive partnership network in the stadiums and arenas vertical and is installed in stadiums such as Marlins Park and The Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

ENSEO DELIVERS FIRST CABLECARD PRODUCT DESIGNED
SPECIFICALLY FOR HOSPITALITY
Enseo Showcases HD4000 at The Cable Show, May 21-23
Richardson, TX, May 21, 2012 – Enseo, Inc., the preferred platform for in-room entertainment and digital signage in hospitality, retail, healthcare, and stadiums and arenas, has developed the first CableCARD product designed specifically for hospitality. Enseo’s UDCP CableCARD set-back box enables HD cable content to be delivered directly to hotel rooms without the need for additional encryption equipment.
Until now, HD cable content delivery to hotels has been limited due to the cost associated with the encryption requirements for delivering HD content to the hotel guest room. With the addition of CableCARD to Enseo’s line of set-back boxes, Enseo’s HD4000 eliminates the need for specialized encryption equipment. Different from residential cable boxes, Enseo’s HD4000 is designed specifically for hospitality, with guest services and hotel control in mind.
“With the HD4000, Cable MSOs have a much more robust offering for the hospitality market,” said Vanessa Ogle, President and CEO of Enseo. “Many hotels would like to take advantage of HD cable programming, but due to the expense of specialized encryption, limited access to channels, and the lack of hotel branded messaging, they have either found more cost effective options than cable content or been unable to provide HD programming to guests. The Enseo platform greatly increases the desirability and value of HD cable content in the hospitality space.”
Enseo’s CableCARD product provides a significant benefit to hotels that want to provide HD cable content to guests. First, there is no need for costly encryption equipment at the hotel, reducing hotel expenses as well as space requirements for on-sight equipment. Content is delivered directly from the cable head-end to the set-back box. Secondly, Enseo’s HD4000 allows hotels to offer a full cable channel lineup, significantly increasing the number of available channels for many properties. Finally, the Enseo platform provides a hotel-branded welcome page and interactive program guide, adding hotel customization to free to guest channels.
In addition to hospitality, Enseo’s HD4000 can be used in other industries seeking to take advantage of HD cable content, including education, retail, and stadiums and arenas.
Enseo will showcase the HD4000 at The Cable Show, May 21-23, as part of CableNET.

ENSEO POWERS SUPER BOWL AND DIGITAL SIGNAGE FOR STADIUM MANAGERS ASSOCIATION ANNUAL SEMINAR
Digital Media Players Display Live Game and Sponsor Messages
Richardson, TX, February 22, 2012 – Enseo digital media players displayed the Super Bowl along with sponsor messages at the 2012 Stadium Managers Association (SMA) Annual Seminar in Palm Springs, CA. The seminar’s kick-off event, held on Super Bowl Sunday, included stadium managers from professional and collegiate stadiums from across the country.
Enseo digital media players displayed the live game in HD on nine Panasonic plasma displays, including eight 50” displays and an 85” display, a 55” Ciil outdoor display, and an HD projector, utilizing the existing coax network. Peerless-AV provided multiple display carts, allowing screens to be moved with ease and placed in strategic locations around Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Palm Springs. Rick Nafe, Annual SMA Seminar Chair and VP Operations of Tampa Bay Rays noted, “I heard a lot of comments from long-time attendees of our meeting about how professional the entire production was, from stage set-up to Super Bowl viewing. Clearly, our look was the best ever…and I thought it was just me.”

ENSEO TECHNOLOGY CHOSEN FOR LA QUINTA INNS & SUITES® IN-ROOM ENTERTAINMENT
La Quinta Innovates Guest Experience in 50,000 Rooms
Richardson, TX, December 13, 2011 – Enseo, Inc., a leader in hospitality digital media solutions, was chosen to provide HD set-top boxes for 50,000 La Quinta Inns & Suites rooms nationwide as part of an in-room entertainment upgrade. Enseo’s HD3000® set-top box, located in every room, enables a La Quinta branded welcome channel and interactive program guide (guide provided by GuestTek™).
Enseo offers this fully interactive guest experience with one-way coax cabling and no need for expensive back-channel equipment.
With this upgrade, La Quinta now has a high-end, hotel-branded interface featuring a welcome to the guest each time the TV is turned on. ENSEO’S CUSTOM DVD PLAYER DELIVERS EARLY-WINDOW MOVIES TO U.S. NAVY
Technology Meets Security Requirements, Provides Better-Quality Entertainment
Richardson, TX, October 10, 2011 - Enseo, Inc., a provider of digital media solutions, has developed a custom DVD player for the U.S. Navy, enabling the distribution of early-window movies, Hollywood films available soon after theatrical release and prior to access by the general public, to armed forces, federal employees, and their families worldwide. The Navy Encrypted DVD (NDVD) Player provides high-quality, digital content, as well as necessary content protection, and will be installed in approximately 800 locations in more than 70 countries.
The Navy Motion Picture Service (NMPS), responsible for Navy Fleet morale, sought a solution more advanced than the previously installed tape-based system, but that would also meet the many security requirements for digital content. "When our servicemen and women are deployed, they typically want three things: Internet access, fitness equipment, and movies," explained Ron Rossman, NMPS head. "Our goal is to meet their needs, and provide them with the best amenities possible while they are serving our country."
Selected by NMPS, Enseo designed a custom product with a multi-pronged approach to content protection to enable better-quality movies for troops.
- To avoid duplication, all DVDs are encrypted and can only be played on the NDVD Player.
- In order to adhere to studio license terms, DVDs are embedded with an expiration date, integrating license terms into the technology.
- In the event that a movie is recorded with a hand-held device, the recording is imprinted with a digital watermark and can be linked backed to the specific NDVD unit, as well as the time it was played.
With Enseo's technology solutions in place to protect content, NMPS is able to distribute 16 DVDs per month to 800 customer sites, including the Navy Fleet, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, NOAA, Department of State, and the Military Sealift Command. Customer sites can maintain a library of movies up to studio license terms. That library reaches almost 200 movies after one year and just under 800 movies after a four-year period.
"I am proud for Enseo to have the opportunity to apply our unique industry expertise in digital video and content protection to entertaining the troops of the United States military," said Vanessa Ogle, CEO of Enseo. "The men and women serving our country around the world deserve the best."
The NDVD Player technology also increases the efficiency of the NMPS distribution center. 14,000-15,000 tapes are mailed monthly to all NMPS customers worldwide, and then returned to the NMPS distribution center for destruction, requiring time-consuming staff processing. Digital content protection means nothing has to be returned, creating a more efficient system for processing.
Prepared for technology advancements, Enseo also provided plans for a shipboard server-based system. This updated system will help to reduce the number of sailors required to operate the shipboards distriduted broadcast operation. Larger ships, such as Carriers, have up to 5,000 active servicemen and women on board and operate 24-hour broadcasts. A server-based system will significantly reduce the operation burden
The NDVD Player has been distributed to all shore locations, and will be installed in all shipboard locations by December 2012.
